REVELATION MAKES YAHWEH KNOWN 3

Revelation makes God known

I.Can someone call himself the messenger of a non-revealing god?
   God revealed Himself to Moses and talked to him (Ex.25:9);
The Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend (Ex.33:11; Num.12:8)
God did not reveal Himself to Muhammad and did not talked to him personally
Who, Moses or Muhammad, knows God personally and is able to speak about the glory of God?
Having God, listening and talking to Him, and knowing Him personally affect all dimensions of our life and provides us with reasons to talk about Him

REVELATION MAKES YAHWEH KNOWN 2

Revelation makes God known

Can someone proclaim God without knowing Him?
Can someone know God without the revelation of God?
Knowing God is not only to know facts about God but to    know Him personally as one person can know another in trust and in love

Those who do not believe in God’s revelation cannot speak about God.

REVELATION MAKES YAHWEH KNOWN 1

Revelation makes God known

God is the source of truth. Only through the revelation of God are we able to know God and have the truth (Jn.1:14).
What human authority can establish the truth on earth if God, who is expected to be the supreme authority in theology, is not revealed?

REVELATION MAKES GOD ACCESSIBLE 1

Revelation makes God Accessible

God wants to dwell personally with his creatures. He wants to live not only among us but even within us at the very center of our existence
*The presence of God in the tabernacle and temple in the Old Testament
*In the New Testament Immanuel, 'God-with-us‘ and “us” as God’s Temples, both indicating to a more personal and intimate relationship

REVELATION OF YAHWEH - KEY 2

Revelation of God: a key to personal witnessing

The fact that God of the Bible reveals Himself personally to people as holy, just, loving and savior is to give purpose and meaning to life.
God has created the man for a purpose
To give purpose to life, God’s constant presence and supervision are necessary

REVELATION OF YAHWEH - KEY 1

Revelation of God: a key to personal witnessing

God’s aim in creation is to put Himself on display

*The heaven declares the glory of God (Ps.19:1)

*The Bible is the written word of God, but Jesus is the personal word of YAHWEH

It is essential to have confidence in this, that God reveals Himself through the Bible, through Christ, and through His Spirit.

REVELATION OF YAHWEH - MAKES PERFECT SENSE

Revelation of God makes perfect sense

YAHWEH is the Creator, the author of life,
1.He gave Adam and Eve life through His personal touch.
2.Could God create, touch and talk without revealing Himself?
The God of the Bible is the personal, relational and active God. He is the God with image:
1.The glory of God will be revealed, and all mankind will see it (Isa.40:5)

2.I will go before you and will level the mountains (Isa.45:2
