REVELATION MAKES YAHWEH KNOWN 4

Revelation makes God known

Jesus said, “They know with certainty that I have come from you” (Jn.17:8)
Through the church the manifold wisdom of God should be made known (Eph.3:10)
“The One (God) whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you” (Acts 17:23c)

REVELATION MAKES YAHWEH KNOWN 3

Revelation makes God known

I.Can someone call himself the messenger of a non-revealing god?
   God revealed Himself to Moses and talked to him (Ex.25:9);
The Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend (Ex.33:11; Num.12:8)
God did not reveal Himself to Muhammad and did not talked to him personally
Who, Moses or Muhammad, knows God personally and is able to speak about the glory of God?
Having God, listening and talking to Him, and knowing Him personally affect all dimensions of our life and provides us with reasons to talk about Him

REVELATION MAKES YAHWEH KNOWN 2

Revelation makes God known

Can someone proclaim God without knowing Him?
Can someone know God without the revelation of God?
Knowing God is not only to know facts about God but to    know Him personally as one person can know another in trust and in love

Those who do not believe in God’s revelation cannot speak about God.

REVELATION MAKES YAHWEH KNOWN 1

Revelation makes God known

God is the source of truth. Only through the revelation of God are we able to know God and have the truth (Jn.1:14).
What human authority can establish the truth on earth if God, who is expected to be the supreme authority in theology, is not revealed?

REVELATION MAKES GOD ACCESSIBLE 4

God in the Qur’an is not revealed to Muhammad

God in the Bible reveals Himself to many people
Who can then claim knowing and having the truth?
The followers of the Bible or the Qur’an?

REVELATION MAKES GOD ACCESSIBLE 3

If God comes, everybody, therefore, can say:

1.God is everywhere, and near me,

2.I ,therefore, can call God into my heart,
3.If God is with me, Satan, therefore, cannot have a place in me; because, God and Satan cannot live in one place together.

4.If Satan is not in me, it means that my relationship with      Satan and Hell has ended.

 This means; I am saved

REVELATION MAKES GOD ACCESSIBLE 2

Mankind is not able to go to God, but God is able to come to mankind
1.Man is in chain,
2.Every other religion in the world asks personal man (though in chain) to go to impersonal god, but in the Bible personal God comes to personal man in order to unchain him.
3.In other religions, gods wait for the lost man to find them, but in the Bible God searches for lost

REVELATION MAKES GOD ACCESSIBLE 1

Revelation makes God Accessible

God wants to dwell personally with his creatures. He wants to live not only among us but even within us at the very center of our existence
*The presence of God in the tabernacle and temple in the Old Testament
*In the New Testament Immanuel, 'God-with-us‘ and “us” as God’s Temples, both indicating to a more personal and intimate relationship

REVELATION OF YAHWEH - KEY 2

Revelation of God: a key to personal witnessing

The fact that God of the Bible reveals Himself personally to people as holy, just, loving and savior is to give purpose and meaning to life.
God has created the man for a purpose
To give purpose to life, God’s constant presence and supervision are necessary

REVELATION OF YAHWEH - KEY 1

Revelation of God: a key to personal witnessing

God’s aim in creation is to put Himself on display

*The heaven declares the glory of God (Ps.19:1)

*The Bible is the written word of God, but Jesus is the personal word of YAHWEH

It is essential to have confidence in this, that God reveals Himself through the Bible, through Christ, and through His Spirit.

REVELATION OF YAHWEH - MAKES PERFECT SENSE

Revelation of God makes perfect sense

YAHWEH is the Creator, the author of life,
1.He gave Adam and Eve life through His personal touch.
2.Could God create, touch and talk without revealing Himself?
The God of the Bible is the personal, relational and active God. He is the God with image:
1.The glory of God will be revealed, and all mankind will see it (Isa.40:5)

2.I will go before you and will level the mountains (Isa.45:2

YAHWEH - CREATOR AND SAVIOR OF BELIEVERS

Revelation is crucial

You have God but others do not
You know God and the Truth but others do not
You are saved but others are not
You are reconciled and submitted to God but others are not
You are established in justice but others are not
You have an heavenly identity but others do not
You are able to love because you are reconciled to God but others are not
You are peace-maker but others are not

ALLAH IS UNREVEALING

Allah Is Unrevealing
Bukhari :: Volume 6 :: Book 60 :: Hadith 378
Narrated Masruq: I said to 'Aisha, "O Mother! Did Prophet Muhammad see his Lord?" Aisha said, "What you have said makes my hair stand on end ! Know that if somebody tells you one of the following three things, he is a liar:

Whoever tells you that Muhammad saw his Lord, is a liar." Then Aisha recited the Verse: 'No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Courteous Well-Acquainted with all things.' (6.103) 'It is not fitting for a human being that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration or from behind a veil.'

(42.51) 'Aisha further said, "And whoever tells you that the Prophet knows what is going to happen tomorrow, is a liar." She then recited: 'No soul can know what it will earn tomorrow.'

(31.34) She added: "And whoever tell you that he concealed (some of Allah's orders), is a liar." Then she recited: 'O Apostle! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord..' (5.67) 'Aisha added. "But the Prophet saw Gabriel in his true form twice."

YAHWEH REVEALS HIMSELF

Yahweh reveals Himself, because He is personal, but all other gods are impersonal.

However, an impersonal god cannot create, save, be heard, and accordingly cannot have any messenger or scripture.

In reality an impersonal god does not exist.

Yahweh is known and knowable, but all other gods are unknowable.

Yahweh is love, just and holy, and away from sin.

But all other gods are the creators of sin and have partnership with sin.

Yahweh saves in this world, but all other gods do not reveal and therefore are not available to save.

REVELATION 14:6

No Other Nations Have the Witness Christians Have. That’s Why the Gospel Must Be Preached to Every Nation, Tribe, Language and People (Rev.14:6)

TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE 7

Reason for hope in Christ

Christianity can answer questions of life more completely than other beliefs: it offers certainty to people’s hearts.
The Christian worldview accounts much better for human experience than any other religious world views.
A Christian can show his or her beliefs are true, reasonable, rational, and worth of living and dying for.

TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE 6

Reason for hope in Christ

Christians are given fullness in Christ (Col.2:10); out of this fullness Christians can find answers to the questions of life for themselves and for others (1Pet.3:15).
All other beliefs and philosophies rely on relativistic thinking, or they depend upon claims which cannot be rationally demonstrated to be true.
The Bible is the words of a reasonable God (Isa.1:18), and its messages can be tested and proved true (1Tes.5:21).

TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE 5

A sure and certain hope

Faith in Christ is reasonable and the Christian faith is defensible:
Yes, it is possible to be a follower of Christ and a rational, clear thinker,
Intellectual integrity and faith in Christ go very well together,
As well as spiritual experiences, Christians also have a rational basis for trust in revelation, and in the death and resurrection of Christ.
